Here are two snippets of what it sounds like when I arrange, perform, track, mix and master a song from sratch.
These are called "Lady Secret" and "You Are The One For Me".
They are written and sung by Eduardt Seghedi. Lyrics by Arthur Giradi.
Eddi sent me mp3s of recordings he made in his kitchen featuring him singing and playing along on guitar (plus drum loop in "You Are The One For Me").
You can hear these recordings at the beginning of the demos and they then cross - fade to and fro between the final production and this raw presentation of the songs.
Since Eddi had no special vision concerning the sound or what exactly the different instruments should play or even which instruments should be played I could do whatever I felt was appropriate.
Because I am a good listener and interested in a wide variety of different musical styles I sense pretty fast in what direction a production could go to serve a song.
I like music !
One obvious advantage of hiring me for this kind of job is that you do not have to deal with a studio, musicians, arranger and producer individually.
When hiring me you only have to deal with one person and I will take care of you !
On the other hand, if you only need one element of a music production, say a bass track or a guitar solo or fill ins or a drum perfomance or you want me to mix a track I can deliver that, too.
